Why this Family opted for a Loft Conversion, Triple Storey Rear Extension, Basement Conversion and Full House Remodel
When the Family purchased the property, they knew there was a lot of work required. The home had bags of character, and huge potential, but needed some serious TLC and modernisation.
What they wanted to achieve
More space for sure, but also a home that was more in line with their dreams, aspirations and way of life. The aim of the project was to maintain and enhance the character of the existing house, whilst making much needed repairs, both for aesthetic and energy conservation purposes. The Family were also keen to add a subtle dash of contemporary living to the property, and to really make it their own.
What we did
Situated in Sheffield’s popular suburb, this Millhouses property underwent a complete transformation. Turning the prior dilapidated property into a tremendous home fit for the Family to flourish in.
The property benefited from a Loft Conversion, Triple Storey Rear Extension, Basement Conversion and a Full House Remodel.
Whilst most of the alterations sought to preserve the existing style of the property, the rear extension at ground level was included as a contemporary addition to complement the existing house, as per the Family's brief.
